As BMO’s senior taxation researcher and advisor, Neil provides specialist advice to the accounting and tax team. He has 37 years tax and accounting experience and is respected for his ability to unravel complex taxation issues, and he also conducts training sessions for the team.

Born in South Australia, Neil moved with his family to Western Australia, and then later moved to Queensland to a mixed farming property near Millmerran.

Armed with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UWA, Neil began his tax and accounting career by working with a local accounting firm for 13 years. In 1999, he joined BMO. He is a Fellow of Certified Practising Accountants Australia and a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Taxation Institute of Australia.

He enjoys a hit of golf and loves to travel with wife Melissa.
