Tamara MacNellie

Tamara finished her secondary studies with excellent results in 2007 and started training to become a solicitor. However, a natural interest in figures and problem-solving led her to an early career change, and in 2008 she was welcomed onto the BMO team.

Tamara initially started at BMO in administration to familiarise herself with the filing and electronic records systems, but was soon moved across to an accounting role. Tamara completed her Bachelor of Commerce degree in 2012 and now works in both self-managed superannuation funds and tax giving her a broad range of knowledge over difference aspects of the firm.

Growing up and working locally has given Tamara first hand experience in dealing with people from all walks of life. She has a genuinely friendly approach to the team and clients, demonstrating all of BMO’s values.

When she is not working, Tamara enjoys relaxation time, fishing and listening to music with her husband Ben and their three young children.
